Contributor Comments: Interesting assignment. It was depressing to see how many animals and plants are fighting for their lives. The video was helpful in getting me started. I, of course, had to push it to it's limits. I wanted to know what was endangered in my back yard. Unfortunately, it got a little confusing at that point, but mainly because the maps were too small to read. Not your fault, though, so it has no bearing on this assignment. It was a good use of a database and an easy form to fill out.

If you want your heart broken look at the second image. This is why they have become imperiled.  If boaters would just slow down in the posted areas these wonderful, docile, frendly mamals would have a chance at survival.
